The receptionist was great - very helpful and friendly. the location was great. the Albergue exceeded all my expectations - I was travelling alone on the Camino. the bed and the linen were fantastic - and everything so clean and modern. the price of the night was brilliantly reasonable - given the quality of everything in the property. the Proprietor, Pillar, was warm, friendly, and helpful. Just what I needed when I was so tired. She gave me a great recommendation for a wonderful restaurant. What more can anyone want or need in a new city. ! and have already spoken with other travelers about my time in Santiago.
Felt very secure, nothing to complain about.

We had an amazing experience at Albergue Linares. the staff was fantastic and the facilities were top-notch. the shower was by far the best we've ever had on the Camino. the dormitories were clean and spacious, and they even provided a stool for the top bunk bed. the blankets they had were the best we've seen in any hostel in Spain. the location was also great, just a short walk away from the old town and cathedral. We can't wait to come back again in the future. Cons: Liked everything 👍.

Real sheets, proper mattress, clean, top-of-the-range kitchen and showers, great location.
Nothing that I didn't like.

The Wi-Fi was strong, allowing me to easily stay connected during my stay. The showers were hot and amazing, providing a refreshing experience after a long day. The location was perfect, as it was very close to the vibrant city center and all the attractions it had to offer.
The blankets were thin and not sufficient to keep me warm at night, which was quite uncomfortable. Additionally, the light sensors in the kitchen were annoying as they kept switching off when I was trying to relax, making it difficult to enjoy my meals.

The location of this hostel was perfect, just a few minutes walk from the main square and the cathedral. the bus stop was also conveniently close by. the rooms were clean and modern, with individual reading lights and charging points for each bed. the bathrooms were swish and hotel, standard, with real towels provided. the kitchenette was small but well, equipped, with a microwave, fridge, and cutlery for self, catering.
The beds were flimsy and noisy, causing disruptions when others moved.

Located on the edge of the old town, the hostel offers a peaceful stay away from the bustling crowds. the friendly and helpful staff go above and beyond to ensure a comfortable experience, while the clean and well-maintained rooms provide a restful night's sleep. the convenient kitchen facilities, including a microwave and kettle, make it easy to prepare meals. Plus, the upgrade to a single room with an attached bathroom was a delightful surprise.
The lack of a separate common area for socializing may be a drawback for those seeking a vibrant social atmosphere.

I had a pleasant stay at Albergue Linares. The hostel was modern, new, and very clean. Each bed had a light and power point, which was convenient. The showers had hot water and were easy to use. The kitchen was well equipped and even had a TV. Additionally, there was a locker for each person, providing security for our belongings.
That the room could get quite hot, especially during the night. It would have been more comfortable if there was air conditioning or better ventilation.
